My thesis was on how Energy Medicine, by the simple application of touch, can be used to alleviate menopausal symptoms.  For this work I enrolled a small cohort of volunteers for a pilot study, and the analysis of the results was striking. It works!  No pills or drugs but simple touch alone.

It left me in no doubt whatsoever that Energy Medicine has a powerful but little used application in enhancing human health.  If it can work for menopausal women, there must be many other fields in which it could also be employed usefully. 

Energy Medicine sits in the arena we call alternative medicine such as Acupuncture, but it warrants a much wider trial to establish clearly how widespread the benefits could be.

Underlying Energy Medicine is a simple reality in that everyone`s body contains electricity; not like the power produced by power stations, but a very small energy possessed by every cell in our body. It is this that energy medicine and acupuncture seek to stimulate in a beneficial way. This may seem novel, but it should not really be surprising.

The whole universe is awash with electrical energy in its many forms, we live with solar radiation and radio frequency radiation around us, and we know that too little and too much can cause damage to living things be they animals or plant life.

A balance is required. It is not surprising that living things are sensitive to their own internal electrical systems due to their evolution having been in an electrical universe. It should, therefore, be no surprise that living bodies will respond to the electrical flows that pass through them.

And this is the basis of Energy Medicine for self-healing by nothing more than touch.
