Dr. Deborah Bloom - PsyDc, LMFT
Certified TARA Approach Foundations Teacher & Advanced Practitioner - Seattle, Washington
It was my own healing journey that initially led me to the TARA Approach. As my health improved through using the TARA Approach I began to understand how the nervous system overload I had experienced early in my life impacted my capacity for health. As my nervous system healed, my overall health improved exponentially. After experiencing the results of the TARA Approach first hand, I immersed myself in the study and self-care practice of the TARA Approach. The TARA Approach has been a core piece of my personal and professional practice ever since and is integral to Tensegrity Center for Integrative Health and Counseling.
Tensegrity Center for Integrative Health and Counseling is a safe place for individuals, children, infants, and families to come to resolve the impacts of shock and trauma. In addition to resolving the lasting impacts of shock and trauma, Deborah is passionate about her work with families who are considering getting pregnant, are pregnant, or have a newborn preventing early shock and trauma from occurring. Deborah works with all aspects of emotional trauma, physical trauma, PTSD, neurodevelopmental disorders, autism, chronic illness and disease, relationship, and transition issues.

Sheryl Kent - MA, LMHC
TARA Approach Certified Advanced Practitioner and Self-Care Teacher— Pacific Northwest
Living and practicing in the beautiful Pacific Northwest near Mt. Baker, Sheryl is a certified trauma psychotherapist specializing in supporting the nervous system to integrate shock and trauma so that we can each live our Original Brilliance into the world. Sheryl found her way to the TARA approach 15 years ago through her own healing journey. "Six months after the near death of my son at birth (born with Down Syndrome), my body was showing signs of distress and overload in every major system in my body. I had excruciating back pain, strep throat that wouldn't clear, severe insomnia and I could barely digest food. I went to numerous body workers, naturopaths, shamans, and chiropractors and no one was able to help my body begin healing. Then I found Deb Bloom, a TARA practitioner. From our first session, I could feel things shifting in a positive direction and I was empowered to begin treating my own body. Within a few weeks I was sleeping better, nearly out of pain and feeling nourished again. The TARA system was there for me at the worst point in my life, and I have felt dedicated to treating myself daily since then, as well as bringing this essential energy medicine system to those I work with so that they might have the same tools!" Sheryl has been actively studying with Dr. Mines for the past 7 years and is both a TARA Approach Certified Advanced Practitioner and Self-Care Teacher.

D. Kate Connelly
Certified TARA Approach Self-Care Teacher and Practitioner
Kate was first introduced to the TARA Approach as a form of self-care after sustaining her fourth concussion in an accident. She was immediately drawn to the exploration of trauma repetition in her life. Since then her enthusiasm for the paradigm has spilled over, leading her to becoming a TARA Practitioner and Self-Care Teacher.
Kate appreciates the Tara Approach for being the conduit that opened her to the discovery of her somatic wisdom. She is now fully immersed in understanding mind-body communication and the nervous system reorganization leading to self-regulation. Kate sees the TARA Approach as a core piece of self-care, playing in unison with her connection to yoga, dance, and traditional tribal medicine ceremonies.
Kate is a musician and fashion designer and uses her creativity as a part of her practice, understanding that somatic treatment is an improvisational dance where one is simultaneously leading and following.
Kate is honored and excited to carry on this lineage. As a practitioner she hopes to assist others in finding healing and alignment, and is impassioned to be a guide for the rediscovery of original brilliance. As a teacher, Kate hopes to empower her clients to answer the call and heal themselves through the implementation of the Tara Approach as self-care.
Kate is based in Brooklyn, New York and is available for in person or remote treatments.
