Resilience is the result of multilateral diversity in the nervous system. For too long trauma treatment advisors have proclaimed the singular route of down-regulation as a path of recovery from trauma. The TARA Approach offers the multilateral approach of not only down and up regulation, but of combinations of both, to meet the challenges of our climate crisis and all of the other crises that accompany it. The demands on our nervous systems have never been greater. That is why the old story of down regulation is outdated, insufficient and misleading.
Stephanie Mines, founder of the TARA Approach and vision-holder for Climate Change & Consciousness invites her students of human potential into a two-day interactive program to expand resilience by orders of magnitude. October 17th is an additional opportunity for supervision and mentorship for your practice, both in serving others and self-care.
This course is aimed at practitioners of the healing arts and TARA students in particular. If you have questions about whether you qualify to attend contact Stephanie at tara-approach@prodigy.net.
Students receive:
1. Specific interventions for multilateral balance or harmonizing the sympathetic and parasympathetic arms of the nervous system;
2. The opportunity to experience multilateral balance for yourself;
3. Somatic exercises that demonstrate and evoke multilateral balance;
4. A comprehensive understanding of the polyvagal system;
5. Endocrine and immune system support;
6. Structural applications;
7. Resources for self-care; and
8. Modeling of how to share interventions for a balanced nervous system online..
