CLIMATE SHOCK: How to Ground and Rebound (Free!)

  • the TARA approach 4050 Southeast Hosner Terrace Gresham, OR, 97080 (map)

11am - 1pm PT

Dr. Stephanie Mines, author of the newly revised We Are All in Shock: Energy Healing for Traumatic Times invites you to a free community gathering to explore the definition and implications of Climate Shock. Climate Shock is the accumulated nervous system burden when environmental conditions cross the threshold of tolerance, adhere to earlier trauma, illness or difficulty, and result in a sudden overwhelming experience of disability.

Dr. Mines provides energy medicine resources and options for the initial thirty minutes of this gathering. The remainder of the time is allocated to facilitated deep listening and community responses. This is the first in a series on community resilience that looks at unprecedented environmental conditions and what we can do to prepare for them. In this case the emphasis is on emotional, spiritual and mental preparation. Later programs, with facilitators holding expertise in other areas, will explore resilience in other regards including energy, family and community, food, water and energy sourcing. All must be addressed.

This program is co-sponsored by Climate Change & Consciousness and the TARA Approach.

Donations are welcome.

All participants receive resources to sustain their preparedness and resilience.
